As of 5:00 p.m. today eighty percent of households have had power restored according to National Grid. Some customers could be without power through the weekend. Town officials met with National Grid and a shelter is open at Belchertown High School where food and hot showers are being provided.<br />

AMHERST – Police have arrested a Gardner man and two accomplices in connection with a late morning unarmed robbery at the Northampton Cooperative Bank on College Street.<br />
